#19. Blue Ribbon Crafting (or any other color)

 We Lifeguards, know you all deserve blue ribbons for your crafting - (and we LOVE ribbons)... but the color of your ribbon is not that important to us ~ we just wanna see what you do with them!  We will give you some examples of what WE have done, and then it is up to you.  Make something fabulous, and make sure that ribbon is a key feature to your project.

I am so sorry!  I am in Florida for the Stampin' Up! It's not too late to see through this week's challenge!  Get your craft on this week and play with some vellum.  Just a reminder - you don't have to make a card, any kind of vellum project will do - just get it done! Cardstock is great.  Paper is fun.  But wait until you play with this!!   You can't see clearly through vellum, but boy does it make a great design element!  You can emboss it, stamp on it, shine a light through it, color on it with blendabilities, etc...  Just make something, and use vellum as a design element and have some fun! (Oh yeah, be sure to upload it here so we can all admire your work!)

This week marks a new year on the calendar, and a whole new thing for our challenge site!  Thanks to our resident My Digital Studio expert, Robbie, we have brought you a Sketch challenge!  Oh what fun!  

 

Sketches are a great way to get out of a creative-rut... it takes away one of the creative elements that sometimes holds us back.  When posting your creation on your blogs, please be sure to copy our sketch and incorporate it into your post, so people can see what you are doing.  Here are some interpretations of the sketch made by our Lifeguards.  Check them out, then get creating!  We can't wait to see what you make!
